PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a propylene-ethylene random copolymer compsn. which exhibits a high crystallization velocity in biaxial orientation and gives a highly shrinkable film having good clarity, antiblocking property, and slipperiness, and a biaxially oriented film from the same. ;SOLUTION: The highly clear, highly shrinkable biaxially oriented film is obtd. by molding and biaxially orienting a propylene-ethylene random copolymer compsn. which comprises 100 pts.wt. crystalline propylene-ethylene random copolymer having a melt flow index (at 230°C under a load of 2.16kg) of 1-10g/10min and an ethylene unit content of 1-10wt.%, 0.01-1.0 pt.wt. spherical silica particles having an average particle size of 0.1-5.0μm and a BET specific surface area of 20m2/g or lower, and 0.001-0.5 pt.wt. talc having an average particle size of 0.05-5.0μm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
