PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the seat manufacturing cost, and to reduce the weight of a seat, and to facilitate the manufacturing work by providing a means for forming a cross section of a mold member for strongly assembling the structural element of a seat into the H-shape having one web. SOLUTION: The structure of a seat for air plane 1 is formed of front leg element 2, rear leg element 3 and an element 4 forming a seat main body. The seat main body forming element 4 is assembled to the front leg element 2 and the rear leg elements 3 by two assembling members 5. Furthermore, the seat structure 1 has a support 6, a connecting member 7 and a load supporting bar 8, and the seat structure 1 is extended backward and upward by a rear element 9. The mold member 5 is provided with a central web 10 and two pairs of flanges 11a, 11b. A central flat surface P in the cross direction and a central flat surface Q in the longitudinal direction are obtained by the central web 10. On the other hand, a projection 14 is formed in a free end of each flange at a side far from the web 10.
