METHOD OF COATING WELL-FORMED POLYPROPYLENE MOLDING AND COATED WELL-FORMED POLY PROPYLENE MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to easily and excellently coat a well-formed PP molding by applying a coating material containing PP resin as a primer on the high foamed PP molding and then applying a coating material containing polyurethane (PU) resin and pigment on it. ;SOLUTION: Since a main body 12 of a base stock box 10 for goods-delivery box or a cap 14 is made of a porous material high in foaming degree as the base stock for well-foamed PP, it is first coated with the coating material as a primer. This coating material uses toluene, etc. as a solvent and the solvent is increased to lower the viscosity and when the coating material is applied on the base stock, the coating material enters each pore favorably. Since the same PP as the base stock is used as coating resin, the affinity is large and the coating resin adheres to the insides of each pore excellently. After the coating, the coating is naturally dried, and a filling layer of the PP resin is formed on the surface part to provide a substrate favorable in the upper coating.
