TAPE CUTTER USED BY MAKING IT EMBRACE AROUND RINGED PART OF DOUGHNUT-SHAPED LAMINATED-WOUND TAPE AND MOVING THE CUTTER ALONG CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE RINGED PART WHILE DRAWING THE TAPE

摘要

PURPOSE: To improve the convenience of using a tape cutter by installing in the tape cutter an arm for pulling the tape cutter, which is put in place as if the cutter embraced the ringed part of winding tape, so that the cutter is held always at a best cutting position after the cutter cuts the tape. ;CONSTITUTION: In putting a tape cutter in place, an adhesive surface of an outlet of an adhesive tape is faced toward a cutting edge 6, and the tape is pulled out through a space surrounded by a pulling arm 2 and the cutter main body. After this, the tip of an embracing arm 5 is folded. When the cutter toward the ringed part of a wound tape is placed in use, the cutter 1 moves as the tape is drawn out, and the cutter 1 stops near the root of the tape being pulled out. Therefore, the tape is constantly ready to be cut in an optimum state. In addition, even when the cutter 1 is pushed toward the root part of the tape end after the cutting, the adhesive surface of the tape is prevented from sticking to a back surface of a saddle part, owing to a plate-like projection 13 installed in the back side of the saddle part of the cutter 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
