HYPERMNESIA AND ANTIDEMENTIA AGENT CONTAINING DEHYDROEVODIAMINE-HCL AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hypermnesia and anti-dementia agent exhibiting acethylcholinesterase activity, containing dehydroevodiamine-hydrogen chlorides. SOLUTION: This hypermnesia and anti-dementia agent contains dehydroevodiamine-HCl expressed by the formula or its functional analog as an active component. The compound of the formula is obtained by extracting Evodia rutaecarpa Benth by using an organic solvent (e.g. methanol) or by a chemical synthesis. Other than the compound of the formula, a usual medical additive is suitably mixed to obtain a formulation such as an oral administrating agent or an injection, etc. An administration amount of the formulation is, e.g. 10-250mg in a case of oral administration for an adult (50kg body weight), 10-150mg in a case of intravenous administration and 10-200mg in a case of subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
