FIELD WATER PERMEABILITY TEST METHOD FOR WATER PERMEABLE PAVEMENT AND TESTER THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly measure a water permeating quantity in a short time by forming a space having desired volume holding watertightness and airtightness on the paved surface of water permeable pavement, and pressing accumulated water in the space into the pavement. ;SOLUTION: When a field water permeability tester is provided on the surface of permeable pavement, an elastic body 6 is tightly contacted with the paved surface by the weight of an iron plate 5. Next, a cock 3 is closed, a water storing part 1 is filled with a fixed quantity of water, and an connector 2 is connected to a hose connected to a compressed air source. Next, the cock 3 is opened, and compressed air is fed from the connector 2 to the water storing part 1. Then, a space formed in the condition of keeping watertightness and airtightness against the paved surface by a bottom plate 4, an iron plate 5, and an elastic body 6 is filled with water, and the water is permeated into the paved face. A time for changing a water level from an upper water level detecting sensor 7 to a lower water level detecting sensor 8 is measured, and the water permeating quantity is computed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
