PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage caused by the mutual invasion of a foreign matter such as worn powder generated in an epicyclic gear type speed reducer, or bearings by deviding and sealing a lubricating oil chamber into an upper lubricat ing oil chamber and a lower lubricating oil chamber and by providing an in dependent feed oil port and an independent drain oil port on the upper lubricat ing oil chamber and the lower lubricating oil chamber. ;SOLUTION: An upper lubricating oil chamber 54 for lubricating an epicyclic gear type speed reducer 30 is formed at the upper part sealed by an oil seal 50 and an O ring 52 in a case 4. A feed oil port 56 and an drain oil port 58 are provided at the upper end of a lower case 6, the upper part of the oil seal 50. Other ring oil seal 62 is mounted on an lower cover 5 located at the lower part of bearing 22. The inner peripheral seal surface of the oil seal 62 is abutted on the outer peripheral surface of an output shaft 18 to form a lower lubricating chamber 64 for lubricating bearings 20, 22 at the lower part sealed by an oil seal 60. A feed oil port 66 and a drain oil port 68 are provided at the lower part of the oil seal 60. Thus, the epicyclic gear type speed reducer 30 and the bearings 20, 22 have enhanced life.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
