PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly vary a closed space in accordance with various kinds of events. ;SOLUTION: When a multi-purpose arena 9 is reduced to the miminum area, first and second arena ceilings 14A and 14B are arranged in the specific height of a position. A first stand ceiling 28 placed on a moving stand 8 and a second stand ceiling 15 placed on a fixed stand 7 are arrranged so as to connect with the first and second arena ceilings. While, when the multi-purpose arena 9 is enlarged to the maximum area, stadium ceiling 30 is lowered down to the same height as that of the first and second arena ceilings. The first and second stand ceilings are arranged so as to connect with the stadium ceiling and first and second arena ceilings. By the constitution, air volume in the multi-purpose arena varying area in accordance with various kinds of evnets and in the upper space of auditoriums 7a and 8a surrounding the multi-purpose arena can be controlled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
