PURPOSE: To automatically correct the weight measurement of supplied waste cotton. ;CONSTITUTION: A pressure detector 24 for discovering repulsion force of waste cotton caused by compression by a cylinder 9 for compressing waste cotton of a waste cotton comprissing device 1 for sending to a banding machine as pressure occurring in a hydraulic circuit 21 of the cylinder when supplied waste cotton is compressed and the amount of the cotton reaches a specific weight is installed. Further a feed amount control circuit 22 for calculating the amount of waste cotton supplied from the detected hydraulic pressure and stopping the feed when the detected amount reaches a set amount and a metering device 30 of the weight of a packed material which is banded and transported are installed. When the supplied amount of the waste cotton reaches a specific amount, rise in hydraulic pressure is detected, supply of the waste cotton is stopped and a transportation order to a banding mechanism 13 side is sent. The set value of weight of the feed amount control circuit 22 is corrected by the measurement of the weight of the packed material.
