PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant for resin coated sand which can reduce the disagreeable smell (offensive odor) developed at the time of executing a casting by adopting a shell mold method in a foundry and thus, the working environment and the surrounding malodor can remarkably be improved. ;SOLUTION: This deodorant is blended of 100 wt parts orange oil, 15-30wt parts turpentine oil and 50-100wt parts ceder-wood oil as the main component, and suitably blended of the other plant volatile oil component of aniseed oil, clove oil, eucalypus oil, etc.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
