WORK POSITIONING METHOD IN BEVELING, AND BEVELING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beveling machine capable of automatically setting a cutter position for obtaining given feed. ;SOLUTION: Beveling is performed to the tip of work, by sending the work by a material supplying device, also positioning the work tip to a given position, nippedly fixing the work, carried in by a main body vice, and vertically moving a rotating cutter 1. At that time, beveling is made by determining correction quantity from a plate thickness (t) and a bevel angle (α) inputted by an inputting means 17 by a control part 7, positioning the work to a position considering correction quantity obtained by controlling the material supplying device, and vertically moving a cutter head 47 to the positioned work by a beveling machine 5. A cutter 1 is composed of a bevel cutter 55 and a scallop cutter 53, and performs beveling concurrently with scallop working.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
