PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrocast mandrel in which workable resin is heaped up and is directly NC-machined to obtain a surface of a predetermined shape without using a copying process of a reverse die. ;SOLUTION: After a height of each rib 2 which almost determines a space height of each part of predetermined shape for a reinforcing frame 1 is determined by numerical control machining using previously prepared CAD data and each rib is fixed to the reinforcing frame 1, metal lath is placed on the side to be a surface of a predetermined shape and predetermined surface treatment is applied on the surface of the metal lath and workable resin is heaped up in a thickness enough to engrave the predetermined shape and then hardened and thereafter the predetermined shape is engraved by NC machining, based on previously numerically input CAD data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
