PURPOSE: To provide a skin burn healing poultice which exhibits excellent effect in initial treatment of skin burn by enclosing a heat insulating agent in a supporting body and making a glass transition temperature of the adhesive agent to a prescribed temperature range. ;CONSTITUTION: An adhesive agent layer composed of an adhesive agent and medicine is disposed on one side of supporting body, an heat insulating agent is enclosed in the supporting body, and the glass transition temperature of the adhesive agent is made to be -60 to -100°C. The supporting body uses materials having strength, flexibility and adhesiveness sufficient to contain the heat insulating agent, including such resin film as soft polyvinyl chloride film for example. Methods to enclose the heat insulating agent in the supporting body may include a method to wrap the heat insulating material into a supporting body formed in the shape of a bag. The heat insulating agent has no special limitation as long as it has softness or fluidity suitable for affixing onto skin, and may include oil gel. Adhesive agents with a glass transition temperature in a range of -60 to -100°C would include adhesiveness doner resin, such as natural coumarone-indene resin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
