PICTURE READER HAVING MARK READING FUNCTION AND MARK READING METHOD USING THE PICTURE READER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely read out a mark recorded at high density by the enlarging function of an image forming device. ;SOLUTION: A multistage bar code 5 formed in a mark forming area 3 of an original, 1 is read out and decoded by a digital copying machine 10. The enlarging function of the copying machine 10 is used for the reading of the bar code 5. Namely a mark image 5A enlarged in the sub-scanning direction so that scanning speed is slowly set up and cell height is more than a reference value H is acquired.
