PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for alleviating wave impact in sailing of a ship provided with a bottom having a triangular bottom structure. SOLUTION: For alleviating wave impact in sailing of a ship, a shock absorber 6 composed of a plurality of shell bodies 7 having the specified outward bent shapes is attached and fixed to a bottom 5 of a desired part in the range from the approximately central part 4 of a hull 2 to a bow part 3.
