PURPOSE: To grind a taper part and a straight part simultaneously with high precision, and quickly and easily regulate the taper quantity of the taper part quickly with ease by improving the technique for centerless grinding a workpiece having the taper part and the straight part. ;CONSTITUTION: A straight part grinding wheel 7 for grinding the straight part of a drill 1 and a taper part grinding wheel 8 for grinding the taper part of the drill are formed separately, and rotated and controlled independently. The taper part grinding wheel 8 and its rotation driving means 12b are placed on a swiveling table 31, and the swiveling table 31 is supported by a rotating shaft 32 in such a manner as to be rotatable.
