Interprocess communication control method

摘要

PURPOSE:To efficiently use a definite memory resource of a computer by providing a descriptor instructing a consecutive area buffer, providing a reference number field to the descriptor and providing a means increasing/decreasing the reference number. CONSTITUTION:A stream descriptor 11 referencing a consecutive area buffer 3 from a process indirectly is provided with a field 13 storing an optional address of a buffer and a descriptor reference number field 12 to store the total number of pointers reference from the process or the like. If the total number of pointer referencing the stream descriptor 11 is fluctuated, the descriptor reference number field 12 is increased/decreased to detect whether or not the reference number is zero at the increase/decrease in the reference field number. Thus, the descriptor is controlled effeciently properly and the recovery and reuse of the descriptor used already are attained and the application range of stream is expanded.
