摘要

PURPOSE:To efficiently remove bottom dross by transferring a plating bath containing bottom dross from a molten zinc bath pot to a subpot, holding this bath at high temp., increasing Al concentration, and removing the resulting floated dross. CONSTITUTION:A hot-dip galvanizing bath 4 containing bottom dross 12 is pumped out from a molten zinc pot 3 and transferred to a subpot 7. This transferred plating bath 4 is held at a temp. higher than the temp. of the plating bath 4 in the above pot 3, and Al concentration is regulated to =0.14wt.%. By the above procedure, the bottom dross 12 contained in the plating bath 4 is floated in the form of top dross 13 and removed.
