PURPOSE: To perform changing a boom pin in a crane with hoisting boom, in the condition with the hoisting boom left as rising up, by providing an auxiliary pin mounting/demounting connected to each bracket conformed for connecting and supporting the auxiliary pin. ;CONSTITUTION: Replacing a boom pin 6 is performed from a boom storage condition. First a hoisting boom 5 is unlocked, further to adjust aligning a pin hole of each auxiliary pin supporting bracket 21, 22 in a side of the hoisting boom 5 and in a side of a fixed girder 4, thereafter to insert an auxiliary pin 26. Next the hoisting boom 5 is made to rise up with the auxiliary pin 26 serving as a support point, so as to replace the boom pin 6 in a condition that it is floated in a slot 14a of a connecting bracket. Successively the hoisting boom 5 is returned to a position 23 of concurrently serving as storing the boom and mounting/demounting the auxiliary pin, to place the hoisting boom 5 in a condition that its weight is applied to the boom pin 6. After the auxiliary pin 26 is removed, prescribed locking is performed to store the boom 5, so as to take a standby attitude.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
