PURPOSE:To improve space utilizing efficiency, by providing a oneway clutch which couples a reel turntable with a brake drum when the reel turntable is rotated in the tape feeding direction and releases the coupled condition when the reel turntable is rotated in the tape winding direction. CONSTITUTION:Since a boss section 15' is also rotated in the counterclockwise direction when a T-side reel turntable 11 is rotated in the tape feeding direction, the moving force of rollers 42' in the counterclockwise direction is enforced by the counterclockwise rotation of the outer peripheral surface 40' of the reel base 11 and the rollers 42' move to the narrow-width sections in the wedge- shaped spaces 41' housing the rollers 42' and are pressure-contacted with the inner surfaces of the outer peripheral surface 40' and recessed parts 39'. Therefore, the boss section 15' and coupler 37' are coupled with each other by means of the rollers 42' and rotated under a united condition.
