PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To introduce a premeasured detergent and fabric softener/antistat into a wholly automatic clothes washer and dryer, in the beginning of a wash cycle, in the form of a package in a dispense, and transfer the effective agents to a laundry to be treated simply, rapidly and with good reliability. ;SOLUTION: At first, a dispenser comprising a pouch container 10 formed with a porous fabric is filled with a water soluble particulate detergent and a fabric softener/antistat in the form of large chips having a low solubility in water. Supplementary openings 32 are formed in cross-section seal lines of the container 10. When the dispenser is washed together with clothes in a clothes washer, the openings 32 are expanded resulting in increasing the speed of a water flowing in and out of the container 10, so that the detergent in the container 10 completely flows out into a washing liquid during a wash cycle for clothes. After the washing, the container 10 together with clothes is dried in a clothes dryer under high temperature conditions of a drying cycle, to thereby melt the fabric softener/antistat and to transfer them from pores of the fabric which forms the container 10 to the clothes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
