PURPOSE:To manufacture the title cast iron material by incorporating specific ratio of C, Si, Mn, P, S, Ni, Cr, Mo and Al to Fe and crystallizing out graphite in the structure. CONSTITUTION:A nickel-chrome cast iron material contg., by weight, 1.0-1.9% C, 1.5-4.0% Si, 0.5-1.5% Mn, =0.1% P, =0.08% S, 4.0-15.0% Ni, 2.0-4.5% Cr, 0.4-5.0% Mo, 0.01-1.0% Al and the balance consisting substantially of Fe, and having the structure in which graphite is crystallized out is prepd. By this method, the graphite crystallized out nickel-chrome cast iron material having excellent seizure resistance and slip resistance can be obtd. and is suitable as a roll material and a machine member to which various characteristics are required.
