Production manner of the ceramics which consists of the luminous material and the said luminous material for the radiation detector and additive null for the rare earth metal oxy sulfide luminous material ceramics
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor which is based on a specific rare earth metal oxisulfide, have been doped with a specified amt. of a specific dopant, has a reduced afterglow, retains the luminous intensity, and is useful for an X-ray computer tomograph. ;SOLUTION: This phosphor is based on (A) a rare earth metal oxisulfide of the formula: (M1-xLnx)2O2S (wherein M is Y, La or Gd; Ln is Eu, Pr, Tb, Yb, Dy, Sm or Ho; and 210-1x110-6) and has been doped with (B) 10-1-10-6 mol.%, pref. 10-4-10-6 mol.%, Zr, Hf, Se, Te or Ti.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
