WATER-SOLUBLE CLEANING AND RUST-INHIBITING AGENT COMPOSITION AND RUST-INHIBITING AND CLEANING METHOD

PURPOSE: To develop an excellent water-soluble cleaning and rust-inhibiting agent composition for a metallic product by adding a nonionic surfactant to a mixture of carboxylic acid or dicarboxylic acid and N-acylamino acid. ;CONSTITUTION: This water-soluble cleaning and rust-inhibiting agent composition consists of the carboxylic acid expressed by formula I such as octylic acid and dodecanic acid or their salt such as sodium salt and potassium salt, dicarboxylic acid shown by formula II such as sebacic acid and its acid anhydride in the amt. of 0.5-90wt.%, 0.5-90wt.% N-acylamino acid shown by formula III such as N-lauryl-N-methyl-β-alanine-Na salt and 0.5-90wt.% nonionic surfactant of HLB 4-16 such as polyoxyethylene lauryl ether and is kept at ≥pH6. The composition is diluted with water 1-50 times as much when used, the oil deposit and contaminant of the metallic product are easily removed, even the rust inhibiting property of the dried metallic product is improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
