PURPOSE: To accomplish reduction in weight and in a size of a temporary feed stopping device for a pierce nut as a whole and to provide a pierce nut driving device in which remote operation is facilitated. ;CONSTITUTION: In a driving device for a pierce nut N, which punches a metal panel P mounted on a caulking die 1 by using its end face as a piercing punch and fixed in the metal panel P at the same time, a movable chute 8, in which a rear end opening 8b is communicated with a flexible chute 7 while a front end opening 8a is communicated with a nut feeding port 5, is installed oscillationally in the inside of a mounting frame body 6 connected to a slide guide 3. A driving means 22 actuating the movable chute 8 is arranged in the mounting frame body 6, and the front end opening 8a is partially closed by means of the side face of a driving punch 2 or the slide guide 3 when the movable chute 8 is displaced to the one side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
