PURPOSE: To effect a smooth transfer of a rubber stopper for use into a waterproofing connector employed in automotive wire harness application to the assembly process of assembling the rubber stopper to a metal terminal fitting by a part feeder. ;CONSTITUTION: A rubber stopper A has a seal part A₂ capable of close contact with the inner wall of a connector housing formed continuously from a cylindrical part A₁, for connecting a metal terminal fitting, having an electric wire inserting hole provided therein. The rubber stopper A is further provided with a synthetic resin made slidably contacting part B₁ projecting axially of the seal part A₂ and the rubber stopper A is moved while the slidably contacting part B₁ is being held in contact with a feed guide rail 2 of a part feeder D.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
