PURPOSE: To provide a facility and method for water treatment in a combined plant wherein structure and operation are simple and operating cost can be saved by utilizing air extracted from a compressor. ;CONSTITUTION: A compressor 36 of a gas turbine 1 is connected to a condensate and feed water system of an once-through boiler 10 through an air extraction feeding pipe 3. As a result, by forcing the air extracted from the compressor 36 into the condensate and feed water system, the density of oxygen dissolved into the water of the system is maintained at a predetermined value, thereby preventing iron from dissolving in the water or from being corroded. Consequently, only be connecting the compressor 36 to the condensate and feed water system through the pipe 3, additional devices of a plant such as a conventional water treatment device is not required and hence devices and operation can be simplified and operating cost can be saved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
