PURPOSE:To stably hold balls from both sides of the axial direction by forming a projection in the radial direction on part of one side of the axial direction of a pocket, and forming another projection in the radial direction on part of other side of the axial direction of the pocket. CONSTITUTION:An arc-shaped projection 7a is formed on one side 7 in the axial direction of a pocket 5. A similar arc-shaped projection 8a is formed on other side 8 of the axial direction inside the radial direction of the cylindrical surface. The projection 7a on one side and another projection 8a on other side are set in a varied phase to avoid overlapping of mutual positions with the cylindrical surface B as the boundary. A ball 3 can thus be held in the pocket 5 in a manner to embrace from both sides in the axial direction. The holder can be manufactured by injection molding.
