PURPOSE: To obtain novel polyaluminium chlorosulfate useful for treatments of drinking water, discharge water and paper manufacturing industry. ;CONSTITUTION: This product is expressed by the formula: Al(OH)aClb(SO4)cMdNe (M denotes an alkaline earth metal, N denotes an alkali metal, (a), (b), (c), (d), and (e) are respectively numbers satisfying 1.95a2.4, 0c0.15, 0d0.16, 0e1.7 and a+b+2c=3+2d+e).
