PURPOSE:To obtain the titled lubricant, having excellent germicidal properties and lubricity and used in food factories, etc., by blending a cationic surfactant having germicidal properties with a higher fatty acid soap. CONSTITUTION:The aimed lubricant obtained by blending (A) a cationic surfactant having germicidal properties (preferred examples; alkyltrimethylammonium halide or alkyldimethylbenzylammonium halide) with (B) a higher fatty acid soap (preferred examples; potassium, sodium and diethanolamine salts of a 12-18C fatty acid, coconut fatty acid and tall oil fatty acid). Furthermore, the blending ratio of the components (A) to (B) is preferably 5-15pts.wt. component (A) based on 10pts.wt. component (B).
