PURPOSE:To collect data of relationship between growth of culture crop and an amount of drain by weighing a measuring device capable of controlling the amount of excess watering to be weighed. CONSTITUTION:Drain from culture medium of rock wool, etc., is sent to a measuring device. When the measuring device receives a given amount of excess watering, the measuring device falls, discharges the drain and a switch means 28 is pushed at each discharge. The amount of drain is weighed by times of the pushings. The excess watering is put in a rocking measuring container 15. A device 16 finely adjusting the position of the center of the gravity of the measuring container 15 based on a rocking center is set. The adjusting device 16 consists of a screw rod 26 and a steel ball. The amount of drain to be weighed can be set to a proper amount such as 10cc by the adjusting device 16.
