PURPOSE:To provide a zinc-aluminum alloy hot-dipped steel sheet excellent in corrosion resistance and adhesive strength of plating by carrying out plating by using a plating bath having a composition consisting of specific weight percentages of Al, Si, Mg, inevitable impurities, and the balance Zn. CONSTITUTION:The plating bath has a composition consisting of, by weight, 3.0-10% Al, Si in an amount of 0.2-0.45% based on Al content, 0.01-1.0% Mg, 0.02%, in total, of inevitable impurities, and the balance Zn. Plating is applied to a steel sheet by using the above plating bath. By the above plating, hexagonal spangle pattern is dissipated and external appearance and also external appearance after painting are smoothed and made attractive. By this method, the zinc-aluminum alloy hot-dipped steel sheet excellent in corrosion resistance and adhesive strength of plating can be provided.
