Throw bait machine in the longline fishery

PURPOSE: To provide a bait throwing machine for mechanically efficiently throwing a longline equipped with fishing hooks provided with baits in the distance. ;CONSTITUTION: This bait throwing machine 20 is equipped with a motor 11 which exists at the quarter of a fishing boat, is rockingly installed through a fitting base 12 and a rocking flange shaft 29 in the interior or the outside of the fishing boat and can control the angle of revolution and the revolution direction of an output shaft 18, a bait fixing arm 21 rockingly attached through a supporting lever 19 to the output shaft 18 of the motor 11 and a pair of rocking braking shafts 30 which exist at both sides sandwiching the rocking flange shaft 29 and are projected from the side of the fitting stand 12 to the direction of the outside of the fishing boat. The bait fixing arm 21 is a trough- like member having a U-shaped section. An AC servo motor capable of providing smooth rotation in a high-speed range and freely control the angle of revolution and the revolution direction of the output shaft 18 is used as the motor 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
