PURPOSE:To make tea or black tea strong corresponding to an immersion time by constituting the upper part of a body whose upper face is opened and which has a containing part in the inside, of a penetrating material which an exuding liquid such as tea, etc., can pass through, and constituting the lower part of a non-penetrating material which the exuding liquid such as tea, etc., cannot pass through. CONSTITUTION:In a tea strainer B, a grip means 2 is extended and provided on one side of a frame 1 formed in a circle, and a supporting arm 3 is extended and provided on the other side of the frame 1, and a body 5 whose upper part is opened and which has a containing part 16 in the inside is attached to the frame 1. The upper part being than a border line L being roughly parallel to the frame 1 of the body 5 is constituted of a penetrating material 6 which an exuding liquid exuded from leaves of tea, etc., contained in the body 5 can pass through, and the lower part being lower than the border line L is constituted of a non-penetrating material 7 which the exuding liquid cannot pass through. When leaves T of tea are put into the inside of the body 5 of the tea strainer B, and hot water is poured from the upper part, hot water is stored in the non-penetrating material 7 for constituting the lower part of the body 5, therefore, the leaves T of tea come to remain immersed in the stored hot water, and an exuding liquid of tea or black tea strong corresponding to an immersion time can be made.
