PURPOSE: To prevent the forward end of a vertically opened and closed door from protruding toward a road at the time of opening and closing the door by providing a recessed section in a holder at the base end of the support arm of the door, and causing a shaft pin fixed to a column to be engaged and disengaged via the vertical motion of a door arm. ;CONSTITUTION: A holder 14 integrated with the base link lever 11 of the support arms 2 and 3 of a vertically opened and closed door 1 and turning together with the arms 2 and 3, is provided with a recessed section 15, and this recessed section 15 is coupled to an engagement pin 16 fixed to a column 5. When the support arms 2 and 3 ascend to such a level as equal to or above the prescribed angle for opening the door 1, the pin 16 is disengaged from the recessed section 15 of the holder 14. Also, when the arms 2 and 3 descend to such a level as equal to the prescribed angle for closing the door, the pin 16 comes to be engaged with the recessed section 15 of the turning holder 14.
