PURPOSE: To confirm leakage and conduct cut-off easily and give sufficient strength at the time of the penetration of shield segments even in shield excavation. ;CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing iron plate 20, to which a piping 22 for cut-off combining the confirmation of leakage, which has a mortar fill opening 36 and is disposed extending over a cutting range by a casing 16 for check boring and in which both end sections with cocks 40 are projected to lower sections, is installed, is hermetically sealed and fixed while space is left in a top section in a shield segment 10, and the inside of the space is filled with mortar 24. The shield segment, mortar and the piping is cut by the casing, the cocks of the piping are opened and leakage to the top section in the shield segment can be confirmed.
