PURPOSE:To enable detecting a slight abnormality such as local heating by mixing a monitor gas expressed by CnF2n+1SF5 with an insulating gas and by detecting the decomposition products of said monitor gas generated due to the abnormality of an electrical equipment body. CONSTITUTION:To constitute this equipment, an inert, incombustible insulating gas 6 such as an SF6 gas for insulating or cooling a transformer body 5 and a monitor gas 7 expressed by CnF2n+1SF5, for example, CF3SF5 are sealed in a tank 1.
