A tape closure system for attaching two opposing substrates. The tape closure system comprises a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape tab having one end permanently attached to one substrate and a second free end releasably attached to the second opposing substrate. The free end is provided with a textured adhesive to improve releasable adhesion performance.
