The method is based on the preparation of diethylenetriamine-N,N,N,',N',N''-pentakis(methylenphosphonic) acid (DTPMP) of the structural formula I by the reaction of diethylenetriamine trihydrochloride with formaldehyde, and then its monocalcium- trisodium salt (Ca-DTPMP) is prepared using calcium carbonate. The salt is then treated with the solution of tin(II) chloride while producing complex that is subjected to lyophilization, and the lyophilizate is mixed with eluate from the generator of technetium 99-m.IMAGE
