A system for collecting and removing urban waste and recycling materials using special buckets

The invention concerns the field of collection and removal of urban waste and deals with the problems which are encountered by the systems currently in use, specifically: - It does not require the employment of a large number of labourers - It uses standard lorries instead of special, expensive waste disposal vehicles - Waste is not evident in the streets not even during its transport and employees do not come into contact with it - A major economy in the management of urban waste. The system uses buckets of capacity which along their longest length are placed in the ground and project about 80 cm from it. Waste is tipped through a special hatch into the bucket which contains a special sack. After the bucket is filled, the sack is tied, removed with the help of the vehicle's crane and transported on it. The system may be beneficially applied by Municipalities and Communities.
