Automatic press for replacing muffle rings of cotton- picking machines

The automatic press consists of a main shaft 1 with a disc 19 for receiving the muffle 16, parallel support plates 2, 3 joined by bolts 12, 12a, 12b, 12c, hydraulic pressure bottles 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, a ratchet 13, ring guides 6, 7 and a muffle guide 5. The muffle guide guides the muffle to a position on the disc which turns with the aid of the ratchet to a fitting position and automatically extracts the spindle, cone and old rings which are removed from the machine through gutters at the same time installing new rings.
