The Chios mastic and the extracted mastic oil has chemical action over the blood polymorphonueclears and attracts blood leukocytes thus helping raise the defense of the tissue in the area between the teeth and the gums against gingivitis and microbal plaque. Also, the combination of the mastic oil, having anti-inflamatory properties, and other suitable raw materials protects against sun burns but also protects and moisturizes the skin.
