FAST INCLUSION IN PARAFFIN METHOD BY MICROWAVES.

The present invention refers to a fast inclusion in paraffin method by microwaves which uses tissue sections fixed in 10 percent formol, and embedded in plastic capsules or thread bound wound dressings, which are placed inside a microwave oven in a precipitate glass having a mixture comprising a 1 to 1 96?? alcohol/xylol ratio, along with distillated water as a control sample in a separate glass. After a while, the sections are transferred to a 1 to 1 ratio xylol/paraffin mixture for some minutes, and when the water contained in the control glass begins to boil and evaporate, the capsules are removed and placed in a mixture comrpising 1/4 part xylol and 3/4 part paraffin for an additional period of time, at the end of which the capsules containing the tissue sections are transferred to paraffin at 60 degree C. The capsules are finally removed from the paraffin to form blocks with the tissues, after which they are cooled and trimmed.
