Esters of cyclohexane derivatives of the formula I IMAGE in which A-B, R3, R4, R5, Y and Z have the stated meanings, for use as inhibitors of the glucose-6-phosphatase system in the liver of mammals are described. The compounds are suitable for producing pharmaceutical products.
