1. Method of transforming RC structure of a damaged RC trestle bridge into a steel structure is designed especially for overhead crane trestle bridges. Characterized in that: The steel column (SS), with the base cross-section proportionately larger than the cross-section of the old RC column (SSZ) at the base of the spot footing (SF), is founded on the cleared old spot footing (SF), on a previously prepared steel levelling structure (KP) embedded in concrete. Then, after levelling and positioning the column (SS), its internal empty spaces from the base up to about 15 percent to 25 percent of its height, having been structurally reinforced, are filled in several stages with an expanding binder filling, preferably with expansive resin concrete with matched adhesion to the steel elements of structural reinforcement of the internal space in the bottom part of the steel column (SS) and to the spot footing with the levelling structure (KP) embedded in concrete. At least one cleaned and additionally reinforced block is used as a supplementary reinforcement of the bottom part of the newly-founded steel column (SS). The block constitutes the bottom fragments (DOS) of the old RC column (SSZ), (SSZD), which remained after cutting off the top part, preferably at the height of 15-25 percent of the old RC column, measured from the top surface (PSF) of the old RC spot footing (SF).
