A method for constructing a load-bearing system for a concrete bridge tensioned by exterior cables, consisting of the longitudinal segmental thrust construction method, in which the lower slab is placed in the section beyond the diaphragm wall on the short production facility, on the main beams of the scaffolding resting on said lower slab, and then a precast diaphragm wall or a monolithic diaphragm wall reinforcement is mounted in the front section of the segment, and then the lower slab under the diaphragm wall is placed, and next the webs and the upper slab are placed, upon which the segment is advanced forward, while pulling the integrated reinforcement of the lower slab and webs as far as the production facility, then the traction equipment is moved behind the integrated reinforcement, after which the reinforcement travels into the target position for concrete placement, and next, the segment is advanced, and then assembly tensioning is performed at the tensioning station in the bridge's end span in front of the production facility, and the reinforcement of the next segment is integrated beyond the production facility at the integration station, wherein the length of the nose constituting approximately 65 percent of the span between the permanent spans, and the assembly tensioning and/or bridge structure height is increased as compared to those employed to-date.
