The multi-pack (1) is formed by an outer paper packaging that encloses a row of the cuboid packages (3) and consists of a base tray (4), extending horizontally around the base of the multi-pack unit. At least one stabiliser strap (5) is connected to the base tray, having vertical sections, extending from the tray on two opposite sides of the multi-pack, and in the row direction. The strap is formed as a handling device and the package rows are held together by friction contact between contact areas (2), generated by the strap.
