PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the conference speech method without needling any software. ;SOLUTION: Transmission gates 3a-3n provided in each 4-wire communication transmission line connected to a voice signal bus 10 are open for a time equivalent to a time T-ON at an interval equivalent to a time T-OFF at a time period N (T-ON + T-OFF), with respect to a frequency at least being a multiple of 2 of a maximum frequency of a signal used for object communication in a conference speech. Reception gates 7a-7n provided to each 4-wire communication transmission line connecting to the voice signal bus 10 are closed, only when the transmission gates 3a-3n provided in each 4-wire communication transmission line of the same party are open, the transmission gates 3a-3n provided to each 4-wire communication transmission line are not open in duplicate, each of the transmission gates 3a-3n provided in each 4-wire communication transmission line is open at a time period N (T-ON + T-OFF) with respect to a frequency at least being a multiple of 2 of the maximum frequency, and then all the parties N conduct simultaneous two-way speech with the time division multiplex communication system.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
