A waist-born garment set comprises a pair of trousers (1) and a girdle (6), a plurality of external straps being connected with the latter, and in the trousers are recessed a corresponding number of apertures (12), through which the straps of the girdle may from inside be passed to the outside of the trousers in order to receive a belt (5). In this way, practically all gravity acting on the belt, e.g. due to a tool holder (10) or similar hung up on it, will be transferred to the girdle (6) rather than to the trousers (1).
