System for monitoring the stray currents in tunnels and viaducts made of reinforced cement

A circuit arrangement is described to enable the monitoring of the dispersed currents of continuous origin (stray currents) in tunnels and viaducts made of reinforced cement and an evaluation of the conditions of occurrence of corrosion or hydrogen embrittlement phenomena on high-strength steels. The invention consists of a system of sensors for measuring the potential of the reinforcements and the current circulating in the concrete, and several logical monitoring units which carry out the automated management of the system and perform the processing of the information received from the sensors to signal the occurrence of hazardous conditions.
